Hand dyed scarves are manufactured by painting the silk with sweeping brush strokes loaded with dye of which several complementary colours are applied.  While the paint is wet scarves are textured with rock salt to give a pleasant and exiting wave effect. After fixing the dyes in pressurized steam containers the silk is washed to remove the excess paint. The scarves are cut to size, the edges are hand rolled and finally ironed to pack.

The hand dyed scarves with salt effect are available in the Plain, Gem Stone, Gold printed and Jacquard designs. Also dip dyed in graduated colours the Crinkled scarves.

Because the scarves are hand dyed the colours may differ slightly in subsequent repeats. All scarves are supplied in assorted colours.
